Together among the pines
Hannah and Manny chose the cozy but gorgeous Cabins on Strawberry Hill campground to host their closest friends and family for their wedding celebration in May. The weather was immaculate with blue skies, wispy clouds, and warm temperatures. This couple was first introduced to me way back in 2019 when I was taking wedding photos only part time and happened to capture their friends' wedding up in Flagstaff with similar vibes — campground in the forest, surrounded by people they love. Fast forward six years and a whole lot of growth later and here we were in Eastern Arizona, together again! Their planning was also done by a person who is near and dear to me — Kylie, owner and mastermind behind K Marie Weddings, is someone who I initially met through the wedding industry and was immediately drawn to her gentle disposition and her kind, thoughtful heart. Turns out she went to high school with my husband! The world is so small. Hannah and Manny also had connections from every walk of life travel out to this remote part of Arizona, and they said they had an absolute blast with so many guests able to stay on site with them and enjoy more than just the wedding day itself. Everyone I encountered was so welcoming and a ton of fun — indicative of the type of people Hannah and Manny are. Just look at the guest photos in this collection and you'll see more smiles and tears than a heart can handle!
And of course, I'd be kicking myself if I didn't highlight their decadent desserts — cake and assorted cupcakes made by their family member, owner of Chunky Monkey Desserts in Phoenix. It was so special to see the family come together to help assemble the table display, and I'm going to be dreaming about those flavors for the rest of my life.
